You can stuff the pockets with duct tape, change your pants more often or &#8211; as we suggest here &#8211; use an Eddy Current Separator (ECS). The last option is by far the most cost-effective.  <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How an Eddy Current turns your scrap into money<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>An Eddy Current separator uses magnetic fields to push non-ferrous metals away from the other material. An Eddy Current separator can typically recover a valuable fraction that was previously lost. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>If you can extract metals with your separator with a value of  <strong>250,000 &#8211; 1 million. DKK per month <\/strong>which is certainly not unrealistic, it means that the machine can pay for itself <strong>in between 8 months and 3 years<\/strong>. Subject to volumes and current market prices, of course. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>So it&#8217;s not a question of <em>whether<\/em> you make a profit &#8211; but how quickly. For many installations, the investment can pay for itself before the next financial statement is prepared. <\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>And let&#8217;s not forget that a standard Eddy Current separator has a life expectancy of <strong>15 years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This means that once you&#8217;ve patched the holes in the pockets, they&#8217;ll be refilled again and again for at least 12 years.
