The Expander is a modern, cost-effective solution designed to solve worn pivot joint issues permanently. All machines and equipment wear out. The problem of worn pivot joints can be a costly affair – both in time and money.
The expander bolt is a shaft with tapered ends. The unique sleeves lock the shaft into the worn mounting holes when tightened, eliminating the problem of play and slop. Expander system has custom-made bolts in over 70,000 different variants for machines in construction, agriculture and forestry, maritime industry, wind turbines, logistics and mining. We are also happy to deliver customized bolts to you.

The Expander Bolt is by far the most economical way to solve the problem of loose joints. It also provides the longest lifetime of repairs. Traditional methods are very extensive as it is a multi-step process of welding and drilling that often cannot be done on-site, resulting in additional costs and longer downtime.
A repair with an expander bolt is quick, simple and permanent. The double-sided locking provides increased stability and security. Installation and removal can often be done on-site.
Although the expander bolt and fastener work as a homogeneous unit, it is easy to remove. The bolt is mounted directly into the worn ears.
